Kolmar Technologies

Kolmar Technologies specializes in the production of cutting-edge infrared detector products designed for research and industrial applications. Our detectors are integral components in instruments like spectrometers and laser systems, catering to the needs of university, industrial, and government research facilities worldwide. With a focus on infrared photon detection in the 1um to 25um spectral range, our standard products meet diverse application requirements. However, we also offer custom detector/amplifier configurations tailored to unique specifications.

Established in 1990 in Concord, MA, Kolmar Technologies began operations at Minuteman Park, Wayland, MA, in 1991, producing standard infrared detector products such as HgCdTe photodiodes and photoconductors. Over the years, we expanded our product range to include InSb photodiodes, low-noise amplifiers, and high-speed photodiode amplifiers. In 1994, operations moved to Conyers, Georgia, and in March 2000, we relocated to our present site in Newburyport, MA.
