EOS HYPERSPECTRAL CAMERA
Description
The EOS family of hyperspectral camera exploits Photon etc’s patented filtering technology based on volume Bragg grating (VBG). This technology is ideal for hyperspectral imaging. Both platforms, micro and wide-field, are designed for luminescence (photoluminescence or electroluminescence) and reflectance measurements and can accommodate broadband or monochromatic light source. Our filtering technology allows the rapid acquisition of spectrally resolved high resolution images.
Volume Bragg Grating Technology: While push-broom (line scan) systems based on dispersive spectrometers acquire a line at a time, devices based on VBGs allow global imaging. This means that with a VBG based technology it is possible to acquire complete monochromatic images at once, rather than line by line (or point by point). Since the hyperspectral camera captures the whole area in the field of view, it is possible to collect spectral and spatial information in real time, with the possibility of recording spectrally resolved videos.
V-EOS™ Hyperspectral Camera delivers a series of monochromatic images over the visible spectrum, avoiding fastidious x-y or line scanning. The system allows unprecedented analysis by providing large scale distribution of spectral features, whether it is band gap variability of a semiconductor or molecular variation in a new compound.
Wide Spectral Range: Integrating our new ZephIR camera, Our S-EOS™ widefield hyperspectral imager now covers the SWIR spectral region up to 2.5 μm. The system allows unprecedented analysis by providing large scale distribution of spectral features, whether it is band gap variability of a semiconductor or molecular variation in a new compound.
GRAND-EOS hyperspectral imager combines a hyperspectral microscopy system with a hyperspectral wide-field imaging platform, giving access to both micro and macro modalities with both VNIR (400-100 nm) and SWIR (900-2500 nm) spectral ranges.
