The MultiSpectrum software, when used together with AKRA and IRIS optical monitoring systems, is a powerful combination for production of optical coatings of any complexity. It is particularly valuable for producing non-quarterwavelength coatings such as broadband AR coatings, cut-off filters, narrowband filters, and multispectral coatings.
During the deposition process, the operator can upload the required number of theoretical intermediate spectra of a particular layer on the process screen and compare them with the actual measured spectrum of the produced coating. This helps in detecting process errors at the earliest stages, interrupting the process, analyzing, and re-designing the coating.
The MultiSpectrum software is compatible with spectrophotometers, optical monitoring systems, and transmission spheres and flats.
