The aperture tolerances are shown on the chart and are applied to the print. Decimal values are shown with decimal tolerance values, while fractional and angular values are shown with fractional or angular tolerance values.

The stainless steel apertures may be used for spatial filters, gas/liquid separators, molecular beam masks, particle counters, pinhole cameras and many other optical or mechanical purposes.

The diameter of the apertures is 9.5mm +0.025 / -0.050mm (0.374in +0.000984 / -0.00197in).

Our apertures will produce high quality diffraction patterns.

The materials used are SS-302/304 per ASTM A666 (blackened finish per SOP 037-black), SS-302/304 per ASTM A666 (flat white finish per SOP 037-white), glass (borosilicate), and PTFE Teflon.
