VLS DIFFRACTION GRATINGS (ADVANCED)
Description
Inprentus manufactures blazed diffraction gratings for x-ray and ultraviolet applications using a nano-scale, contact-mode lithography technique, a method of controlled mechanical deformation of metallic surfaces. This technology is particularly suited to xray and UV diffractive optics in which features must be shaped with 0.1 degree angular precision and positioned with nanometer precision over distances of tens of centimeters.

Frequently Asked Questions
The specifications of VLS diffraction gratings include a resolving power of over 50,000 on a best effort basis, a blaze angle as low as 0.2 degrees, line density below 500 and above 2000, and a VLS law of N(w)=a0+a1w+a2w^2+a3w^3.
VLS diffraction gratings are blazed diffraction gratings manufactured by Inprentus for x-ray and ultraviolet applications using a nano-scale, contact-mode lithography technique.
VLS diffraction gratings are created using a method of controlled mechanical deformation of metallic surfaces.
The warranty for VLS diffraction gratings is 12 months after delivery.
VLS diffraction gratings can be made on planar or curved substrates, including single crystal silicon or fused silica.
