OVERVIEW
Alpao deformable mirrors are based on a micro mechanical technology.
This enable large deformation, up to 80 µm on the wavefront in tip-tilp, conserving a large bandwidth, up to 2 kHz. The flatness is also a key point in optics and it is measured to be less than 7 nm RMS when actively flatten.
