Fast Shack-Hartmann Wavefront Sensor
Measuring or even controlling quickly varying optical abberations with a high spatial resolution is currently connected with high cost for processing hardware and sensor equipment.
JOÃO is a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor that breaks these limits. Connected to an off-the-shelf Personal Computer, JOÃO keeps track of hundreds of focal spots at very high acquisition rates.
