Frequently Asked Questions

It is suitable for laser marking, cutting and ablation of thin films and plastics, as well as other plastic, organic, and metal materials processing, laser surgery, LIDAR, and frequency conversion.

The laser emission wavelength is 2 µm, it generates nanosecond pulses with high peak power and pulse energy, and has a near diffraction limited beam quality. It also comes in a rugged OEM package and compact size.

It can generate up to 100 W average power with up to 500 kHz repetition rate.

The free-space output beam at 1950 nm exhibits a beam quality factor below 1.3.

It operates at a temperature range of 10 to +30 ˚C, requires water cooling (with a portable recirculating chiller available as an option), and has a warm-up time of 10 minutes. It also has a compact size with package dimensions of 345(W) x 440(D) x 126(H) mm.
