Features
The Ajile AJ-C High-Speed Cameras are based on the CMOSIS CMV4000 (4 MP) and CMV2000 (2MP) families of CMOS image sensors with global shutter. They are available in mono, colour or NIR enhanced versions. Each camera is a component which connects to an Ajile Master Controller with an LVDS ribbon cable which allows the camera to be away from the Controller. The Master Controller can support two cameras or a camera and a DMD. The cameras can be reconfigured on a frame by frame basis, for example to change the region of interest, the exposure time etc.
This can be a planned sequence of frames or can be changed on the fly, depending on image content or on external triggers. The Master Controller can store up to 100 full resolution images from the 4MP sensor and can capture and store bursts of images at full frames rates or can stream images back to the PC over the GigE connection.
The camera has an LED driver control interface and so can manage its own scene lighting via an Ajile LED Driver. It also has four GPIO lines for other uses.
